Clifton steel have now completed the installation of a Bystronic 6kw Laser cutting machine capable of cutting up to 25mm in Stainless and Mild Steel and 15mm in Aluminium.

With over 1000 Tonnes of Steel in Stock in the centre of Birmingham, we are able to supply the West Midlands with laser cut parts on a next day basis and deliver on our own transport at the most competitive prices. Full automation allows us to run production jobs through the night making our service quick and reliable.

Clifton Steel have chosen Radan as their software supplier for drawing and editing Laser Cut Parts.

Radan provides advanced CNC profiling, delivering maximum precision from laser machines.

Laser Cut Parts & Profiles

Clifton Steel are now able to produce Laser Cut profiles and parts on a recently purchased Amada Laser Cutter. We can cut from 0.4mm – 6.0mm in Cold Reduced, Galvanised, Hot Rolled, Zintec & Stainless Steels. This adds another link to the chain of products and services that Clifton Steel are able to offer. All we need is a .dxf or .dwg file and we will be able to process orders on a next day basis.

Clifton Steel invests in iMetal from Metalogic

Clifton Steel have invested in Metalogic’s iMetal software to improve service to customers and allow closer stock control within the operation. This brand new software has only been installed in a few of sites across the U.K. and will change the way the company does business. Ken Shafi, Managing Director says “We will be able to keep a much closer eye on customer centric improvements such as delivery performance, non conformance and changing prices in an uncertain market.”

Roger Shafi appointed as NASS President

Director of Clifton Steel, Roger Shafi was elected by the members of the NASS to become their new president. Roger is succeeding John Brierley who has taken up the immediate role of past president.
